Book Review by Soulla Christodoulou
Hello and welcome to my blog where I share my love for one of the books I have recently read.
This week it’s Kelly Florentia’s No Way Back
And what a story! Full of realism, authentic characters, good humour and a whole lot of twists and turns that made this a fast-track, page-turning read.
The dynamics between the main character Audrey and her friends are wonderfully electric… the banter made me laugh and the more delicate moments brought tears to my eyes.
This is a well-written story and being of Greek Cypriot origin I absolutely loved the references to Cyprus and the Greek Cypriot dialogue and G-ringlish words.
So if you’re looking for a book which will surprise you at every turn of the page then this is for you.
Kelly Florentia lives in north London with her husband Joe, and where her novels The Magic Touch, No Way Back, Her Secret and her latest, a psychological thriller, which publishes in February 2021 by Bloodhound Books, are set.
Kelly has always loved writing and has even written poetry when she was younger.
Before writing her debut, she wrote short stories for women’s magazines and To Tell a Tale or Two is a collection of her short tales.
In January 2017, her keen interest in health and fitness led to the release of Smooth Operator – a collection of twenty of her favourite smoothie recipes.
Kelly enjoys reading, running, drinking coffee, gyming, watching TV dramas, and spending way too much time on social media!
I hope you will add Kelly’s books to your TBR pile!
Thank you for joining me this week and until next week,
Happy Reading, Happy You!
With much love, Soulla xxx
